You can install the Security Center agent on a server only if the server uses a supported operating system version and kernel version. After the agent is installed, Security Center protects the server. This topic describes the versions of the operating systems and kernels that are supported by the Security Center agent and the agent processes.
Before you install the Security Center agent on the server that you want to protect, ensure that the operating system version and kernel version of the server are included in the following tables. If the operating system version and kernel version of the server are not included in the following tables, Security Center may not offer full protection to your server.
