Overview
Alert settings include Alert Group and Notification Methods.
Alert Group: specifies one or more contact groups that receive notifications when a service exception occurs. If the health check feature of Global Traffic Manager (GTM) detects an exception, for example, an IP address is abnormal or an address pool is unavailable, GTM sends an alert notification to the specified contact groups in a timely manner.
Notification Methods: specifies the type of an event that triggers an alert and the methods for sending alert notifications. Valid values of Alert Event Type are Address Unavailable, Address Restored to Available, Address Pool Unavailable, and Address Pool Restored to Available. Alert notification methods are Email Notification, Chatbot Notification, and Text Message Notification. Chatbot Notification can be DingTalk, WeCom, or Lark.
