Analyze TCP/UDP proxy logs - Edge Security Acceleration - Alibaba Cloud Documentation Center

Edge Security Acceleration (ESA) supports multidimensional TCP/UDP proxy log analytics and provides visualized display of analytics results. For example, you can use TCP/UDP proxy analytics to obtain insights into trends over time, distribution by country/region, and top rankings based on metrics such as traffic, number of connections, and connection durations.

View analytics reports

Log on to the ESA console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Websites.
On the Websites page, find the website that you want to manage, and click the website name or View Details in the Actions column.
In the left-side navigation tree, choose TCP/UDP > Analytics.
On the Analytics page, view traffic statistics and analytics results. You can print reports or download reports in the CSV format to your local device.

Report items

Item	Description
Filters and time ranges	TCP/UDP proxy analytics supports the following filters: host, country/region, client IP, client ASN, and client ISP. TCP/UDP proxy analytics supports custom time ranges and the following preset time ranges: last 30 minutes, last 6 hours, last 12 hours, last 24 hours, last 72 hours, last 7 days, last 14 days, last 21 days, and last 30 days.
Metrics	Traffic Inbound traffic: the traffic transmitted from clients to points of presence (POPs). Outbound traffic: the traffic transmitted from POPs to clients. Maximum number of concurrent connections: the maximum number of connections that were established between clients and POPs at the transport layer within the specified time range. Note All percentages reflect period-on-period changes (between the selected time range and the last time range.)
Statistical overview and trends	The change of metrics over time in different dimensions. All dimensions except All display the top five data records and the sum of the top five data records.
Regional distribution	By default, statistical data on the selected metric is displayed by country/region. If the Country/Region filter is Chinese mainland, statistical data on the selected metric is displayed by province.
Top rankings for data dimensions	Supported dimensions include host, client IP, client ASN, and client ISP. TCP/UDP proxy analytics supports top 5, top 10, and top 15 rankings.
Report print and download	Print Report: generates a report with the report layout optimized for print. Download Data: downloads results in the CSV format to your local device.
