If whitelist-based access control is enabled for a MaxCompute project, errors may occur when you use Data Analysis features such as fee calculation, data download, dimension table usage, and data upload to perform operations on MaxCompute tables in the MaxCompute project. To ensure that Data Analysis can access the MaxCompute project, you must add the IP address information of Data Analysis in a specific region to the IP address whitelist of the MaxCompute project in advance.
Precautions
You must check whether whitelist-based access control is enabled for the desired MaxCompute project and configure a whitelist for the MaxCompute project. For more information, see Manage IP address whitelists.
The IP address whitelist for Data Analysis section in this topic provides a whitelist of CIDR blocks or IP addresses only for Data Analysis features such as fee calculation, data download, dimension table usage, and data upload. If you use an exclusive resource group for scheduling to run MaxCompute nodes in Data Analysis, you must add the IP address information of the exclusive resource group for scheduling to the whitelist of the MaxCompute project to which the MaxCompute nodes belong. For more information about how to obtain the IP address information of an exclusive resource group for scheduling, see Appendix: Obtain the IP address information of an exclusive resource group for scheduling. For more information about how to add a CIDR block or an IP address to the whitelist of a MaxCompute project, see Manage IP address whitelists.
IP address whitelist for Data Analysis
If whitelist-based access control is enabled for the MaxCompute project that you want Data Analysis to access, you must add the CIDR blocks or IP addresses of Data Analysis in the region in which your DataWorks workspace resides to the whitelist of the MaxCompute project. The following table lists the CIDR blocks or IP addresses of each region.

Appendix: Obtain the IP address information of an exclusive resource group for scheduling
If whitelist-based access control is enabled for the MaxCompute project to which MaxCompute nodes that you want to run belong and you want to use an exclusive resource group for scheduling to run the nodes in Data Analysis, you must add the IP address of the exclusive resource group for scheduling to the whitelist of the MaxCompute project. For information about how to add a CIDR block or an IP address to the whitelist of a MaxCompute project, see Manage IP address whitelists.
