Cloud Storage Gateway:What character sets are supported by file gateways?

This topic describes the character sets that are supported by file gateways.

OSS file commands only support the UTF-8 character set. Files that do not use the UTF-8 character set cannot be uploaded to OSS. Therefore, file gateways only support uploading files that are named by using the UTF-8 character set to OSS.

Uploads of files that are not named by using the UTF-8 character set will fail, and occupy upload sessions. You need to manually clear the sessions. If you find files that are not named by using the UTF-8 character set on file gateways, submit a ticket.
