This topic describes the limits on mounting iSCSI volumes.
- Due to the limits of the iSCSI protocol, different file systems are used in iSCSI volumes to support Windows-based clients and Linux-based clients. Therefore, you have to choose between a Windows-based client and a Linux-based client when you need to use a client to access an iSCSI volume.
- Do not mount the same iSCSI volume to multiple clients as a share. Block gateways do not allow you to access the same iSCSI volume from different clients at the same time.
