    Cloud Storage Gateway:How do I log on to the on-premises gateway console?

    This topic describes how to log on to the gateway console through a browser.

    Procedure

    1. In your firewall, open port 443.

      Note

      To ensure data security, the gateway console only supports the HTTPS protocol.

    2. Open your browser and enter the IP address of the Cloud Storage Gateway (CSG) instance into the address bar.

      https://<the IP address of the CSG instance>

      If it is the first time that you have logged on to the gateway console, you must set the username and password.
