This topic describes how to configure the IP address of a Cloud Storage Gateway (CSG) gateway by deploying an Open Virtualization Format (OVF) template in a local VMware virtual machine.
Procedure
Download the OVA image from the CSG console.
Deploy the OVA image by deploying an OVF template in the local VMware virtual machine. For detailed instructions, see Install a VMware OVA image.
On the Custom Template tab, configure an IP address and DNS servers for the gateway.
After the deployment is complete, log on to the gateway console by using one of the following methods:
An SSH tunnel
A browser
