This topic describes how to delete unused clusters in the Alibaba Cloud Container Compute Service (ACS) console.
Precautions
Ensure all workloads, including deployments, statefulsets, jobs, and cronjobs, are manually cleared before you delete a cluster to prevent deletion failure. For more details on workloads, see Workloads.
Steps
Log on to the ACS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters.
(Optional) On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to manage and click in the Actions column. In the Disable Deletion Protection dialog box, turn off Deletion Protection and click OK.
If cluster deletion protection is not enabled for your cluster, you can skip this step.
On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to manage and click in the Actions column.
In the Delete Cluster your cluster_name and Associated Resources pane, select the resources you want to delete, and click Delete. In the Delete Cluster your cluster_name dialog box, enter the cluster name, select I understand the above information and want to delete the specified cluster, and then click OK.
