This topic describes the billable resources of Compute Nest, and the billing methods of the resources.

Compute Nest console During the public preview, you can use the Compute Nest console for free. After the public preview ends, Alibaba Cloud will announce the billing schedule for the Compute Nest console on the Alibaba Cloud official website. None.
Service The fees for a service are determined based on whether the service provider publishes the associated product of the service in Alibaba Cloud Marketplace. The following information describes the billing rules for the service:
  • If the service provider does not publish the associated product, Alibaba Cloud Marketplace does not implement billing for the service.
  • If the service provider publishes the associated product, the billing for the service is implemented based on the user types:
    • If you are a customer, the fees that you need to pay for the service are specified by your service provider when the service provider publishes the associated product in Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.
    • If you are a service provider, you are charged when you publish the associated product in Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.
  • If the service provider does not publish the associated product of a service in Alibaba Cloud Marketplace, Alibaba Cloud users do not need to select billing methods.
  • If the service provider publishes the associated product of a service in Alibaba Cloud Marketplace, the service supports multiple billing methods.
    • When the service provider publishes the associated product in Alibaba Cloud Marketplace, the service provider must specify a billing method. For example, Alibaba Cloud users can purchase the product by the subscription or session billing method.
Cloud resource The fees are determined based on the Alibaba Cloud resources such as Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances and virtual private clouds (VPCs) that you use when you create services. For more information about the billing method of each resource, see the related documentation.
