CloudMonitor:View a resource usage report

Procedure

1. Log on to the CloudMonitor console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Hybrid Cloud Monitoring > Resource Usage Report.

3. On the Resource Usage Report page, find the report task that you want to manage and click View Latest Report in the Actions column.

   You can view the resource usage of the related resources. The report includes the following sections:

   • Resource Distribution

     You can view the distribution of all resources in the current resource usage report by cloud service, resource group, region, and cost center. For more information, see Cost center.

     Note

     All resources in the current resource usage report are the cloud resources that you specified for the corresponding report task.

   • Resource Usage Details

     You can select a resource group or a cost center to filter specific resources from all resources in the report. The usage of the selected resources is displayed by cloud service. The Resource Usage Details section of a report contains the following sub-sections: cloud service resource distribution, resource usage statistics and comparison, and resource load evaluation. In this example, Elastic Compute Service (ECS) is used.

     • Cloud service resource distribution

       This sub-section displays the distribution of resources for ECS by resource group, cost center, and region after you specify filter conditions.

       Note

       • If you set the filter condition to Cost Center, the Resource Group Distribution of Instances chart is displayed.

       • If you set the filter condition to Resource Group, the Cost Center Distribution chart is displayed.

     • Resource usage statistics and comparison

       This sub-section displays the statistics and comparison result of resource usage for ECS, such as the average resource usage of three core metrics and number of resources that are distributed at different usage ranges. This sub-section also provides resource usage references based on historical data and the intelligent algorithm.

       Note

     • Resource load evaluation

       This sub-section displays the evaluation results for the load of the ECS resources based on the intelligent algorithm of CloudMonitor. The load of ECS resources is evaluated based on the usage of the resources and classified into the following categories: high load, normal, and low load.

       Note

       • Some resources may be classified as unknown due to insufficient data.

       • CloudMonitor supports the load evaluation for only ECS resources.
