You can use the CloudMonitor agent installed in your hosts, including Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, to collect data of network metrics. The metrics include network interface controller (NIC) bandwidth, number of NIC inbound packets, number of NIC error packets, and number of network connections. You can configure alert rules for these metrics. If a metric triggers an alert, alert notifications are sent so that you can troubleshoot the problem in a timely manner.
Prerequisites
The CloudMonitor agent is installed in the host that you want to monitor. For more information, see Install and uninstall the CloudMonitor agent for C++.
