You can use the CloudMonitor agent installed on your Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, to collect the metric data of disks. The metrics include read operations per second, write operations per second, read bytes per second, and write bytes per second. You can configure alert rules for these metrics. If a metric triggers an alert, alert notifications are sent so that you can troubleshoot the problem in a timely manner.
Prerequisites
The CloudMonitor agent is installed on the ECS instance that you want to monitor. For more information, see Install and uninstall the CloudMonitor agent for C++.
A disk is created for the ECS instance that you want to monitor. For more information, see Create a disk or Create a disk from a snapshot.
Metrics
For information about the disk metrics of ECS instances, see ECS metrics.
