Servers in data centers

The idc-scanner tool is used to conduct surveys on data centers in offline mode. The tool can be run on major UNIX-like operating systems, especially commonly used Linux distributions, such as CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian. The following operating systems are supported:

centos.7
centos.8
ubuntu.20
ubuntu.18
ubuntu.18
debian.11
debian.9
debian.10
opensuse.15
aliyun.3
aliyun.2
fedora.35
fedora.34
fedora.33

The win-scanner tool is also used to conduct surveys on data centers in offline mode. The tool can be run on major Windows operating systems. The following operating systems are supported:

Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter
Windows Server 2016 Datacenter
Windows Server 2019 Datacenter
Windows Server 2022 Datacenter

AWS resources

You can conduct surveys on Amazon Web Services (AWS) resources in the CMH console or by using the aws-scanner tool. AWS resources are divided into core and non-core services. Service details and price inquiries are displayed in the survey results of core services, whereas the survey results of non-core services include only service overviews.

Data migration from AWS

EC2 and RDS instances

Cross-zones data migration on Alibaba Cloud

vSwitches, ECS instances, ApsaraDB RDS instances, ApsaraDB for Redis instances, and SLB instances. You need to only create vSwitches but do not need to migrate vSwitches.

Cross-region data migration on Alibaba Cloud

vSwitches, ECS instances, ApsaraDB RDS instances, ApsaraDB for Redis instances, SLB instances, and Object Storage Service (OSS) buckets. You need to only create vSwitches but do not need to migrate vSwitches.

Data migration across Alibaba Cloud accounts

ECS instances, ApsaraDB RDS instances, ApsaraDB for Redis instances, ApsaraDB for MongoDB instances, PolarDB clusters, and OSS instances
