The log analysis feature automatically collects real-time Internet traffic logs. You can use this feature to retrieve and analyze the collected log data in real time and view the query results on various dashboards. This topic describes how to enable the log analysis feature.
Applicability
This feature is available only for the Premium, Enterprise, Ultimate, and Pay-As-You-Go editions of Cloud Firewall.
If your billing method is legacy pay-as-you-go 1.0, associated logs are not automatically deleted when you release a Cloud Firewall instance. You must navigate to the Simple Log Service console and manually delete the Cloud Firewall Project to stop billing.
Enable the log analysis feature
If you did not enable the log analysis feature when you purchased Cloud Firewall, you can upgrade your instance to enable it.
Log on to the Cloud Firewall console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose .
On the Log Analysis page, click Enable Now or Upgrade Now if you use the old billing method, or click Enable Now if you use the new billing method.
Follow the on-screen instructions to enable the log analysis feature.
