Checks whether an Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance is running.
Scenario
This rule helps you detect stopped ECS instances at the earliest opportunity. If stopped ECS instances are not detected, your business system may be interrupted.
Risk level
Default risk level: medium.
You can change the risk level as required when you apply this rule.
Compliance evaluation logic
- If the ECS instance is running, the configuration is considered compliant.
- If the ECS instance is stopped, the configuration is considered non-compliant. For more information about how to correct the non-compliant configuration, see Non-compliance remediation.
