Checks whether an automatic snapshot policy is configured for each Elastic Compute Service (ECS) disk. If so, the evaluation result is Compliant.
Scenarios
After an automatic snapshot policy is configured for an ECS disk, Alibaba Cloud automatically creates snapshots for the ECS disk based on the specified time and cycle. You can use automatic snapshot policies to improve data security and fault tolerance.
Risk level
Default risk level: low.
When you apply this rule, you can change the risk level based on your business requirements.
Compliance evaluation logic
- If an automatic snapshot policy is configured for each ECS disk, the evaluation result is Compliant.
- If no automatic snapshot policy is configured for an ECS disk, the evaluation result is Incompliant. For more information about how to remediate an incompliant configuration, see Incompliance remediation.
