A WABA is created and bound to the channel. The WABA is approved by WhatsApp. For more information, see WABA onboarding.
Background information
You can migrate phone numbers that are registered with other Business Solution Providers (BSPs) to Alibaba Cloud. The following information about a migrated phone number is retained: the display name of the enterprise to which the phone number belongs, quality rating, messaging limits, official business account status, and high-quality message templates that have been approved.
Procedure
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Channel management.
On the Channel management page, click a channel ID or click Management in the Operation column that corresponds to the desired channel.
On the page that appears, click WABA onboarding in the left-side navigation pane.
On the WABA onboarding page, click Register.
Log on to your Facebook account.
ImportantYou do not need to create a new account when you log on to your Facebook account.
Click Get Started.
On the Create Your Meta and WhatsApp Business Account page, select the Meta Business Account to which the phone numbers you want to migrate are bound. Then, click Continue.
Create a new WABA and click Continue.
Close the page after you complete the embedded signup.
ImportantIgnore Step 2.
Access Meta Business Settings to check whether the service authentication and WABA verification have been approved, and whether the payment method has been specified.
On the WABA onboarding page, perform subsequent steps as prompted.
NoteFor more information about migration, see User Guide on Migrating Phone Numbers.
After the migration is complete, go to Meta Business Manager and enable the two-step verification again if your destination WABA is an Official Business Account (OBA) or you have completed two-step verification. This ensures the security of your account and retains the OBA status.
