ApsaraDB for OceanBase:Overview

The Web OceanBase Developer Center (ODC) provides management and collaboration capabilities in addition to tool capabilities. It focuses on the security, compliance, and efficiency of database changes. This chapter describes how to get started with the Web ODC.

The following process helps you understand and quickly get started with Web ODC.

Log on to Web ODC

You can log on to ODC for user identification. Data source configurations and SQL script features in the workspace depend on user identification.

Manage users

Add an ODC user and grant roles with relevant data source privileges to the user. ​

Create a data source

Connect an OceanBase database to ODC and edit and manage the database objects and resources.

Create a project

Add databases and members to the project for team collaboration and security control.

Add databases to the project

Add a database in the data source to the project.

Edit and execute SQL statements

Edit and execute SQL statements in the SQL window of ODC.

Create a database change task

Introduce a change to the data in the database.

After completing the preceding steps, you can develop and manage your OceanBase database by using Web ODC.
