    :Scale in the storage space

    This topic describes how to scale in the storage space for a cluster instance.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

    3. In the instance list, click the name of the target cluster instance to go to the Cluster Instance Workspace page.

    4. Click the more icon in the upper-right corner and select Storage Downgrade from the drop-down menu.

    5. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

    6. Specify the size of storage space you want to reduce and agree to the service agreement.

    7. Click Buy Now and make the payment.Scale in the storage space

      Note

      • When all tenants in the cluster instance are in the Running state, you can scale in the storage space. Services may be interrupted during the scale-in. Therefore, perform the scale-in operation in off-peak hours.

      • After the specifications of a Subscription instance are downgraded, the price gap between the original and new specifications will be refunded. For more information, see Refunding rules.
