This topic describes how to downgrade package specifications for a cluster instance and a tenant instance.
Procedure
Cluster instance
Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.
In the instance list, click the name of the target cluster instance to go to the Cluster Instance Workspace page.
Click the More icon in the upper-right corner and select Specification Downgrade from the drop-down menu.
In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
Select the target node specifications and storage size. Then, agree to the service agreement.
Click Buy Now and make the payment.
NoteYou can downgrade the package specifications only when all tenants in the cluster instance are in the Running state.
Services may be interrupted during the downgrade. Therefore, perform this operation during off-peak hours.
If the package specifications after the downgrade cannot cover the average usage in 7 days, the latency of requests may become higher. Proceed with caution.
After the specifications of a Subscription instance are downgraded, the price gap between the original and new specifications will be refunded. For more information, see Refunding rules.
