ApsaraDB for OceanBase:View major compaction records

You can view the major compaction records of an instance on the instance workspace page of the instance.

Prerequisites

You have initiated a major compaction for the cluster instance. For more information about how to initiate a major compaction, see Initiate a major compaction.

Procedure

The entry for viewing major compaction records varies with the version of ApsaraDB for OceanBase:

  • For a cluster instance of ApsaraDB for OceanBase V2.x or V3.x, you can view its major compaction records within the last three days on the Cluster Instance Workspace page.

  • For a cluster instance of ApsaraDB for OceanBase V4.x, you can view the major compaction records of all tenants in the cluster instance within the last three days on the Cluster Instance Workspace page, or view the major compaction records of a specific tenant within the last three days on the Tenant Workspace page.

The following procedure shows how to view major compaction records on the Cluster Instance Workspace page.

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

  3. In the instance list, click the name of the target cluster instance to go to the Cluster Instance Workspace page.

  4. On the Cluster Instance Workspace page, click Actions on the right of Major Compaction and select View Major Compaction Records.

  5. View the major compaction records of the cluster instance or those of tenant instances in the cluster instance.

    1. For a cluster instance of ApsaraDB for OceanBase V2.x or V3.x, you can view major compaction records in the following fields: Major Compaction Started At, Major Compaction Ended At, Time Consumed, Status, and Data Version.

    2. For a cluster instance of ApsaraDB for OceanBase V4.x, you can view major compaction records in the following fields: Tenant Name/ID, Major Compaction Started At, Major Compaction Ended At, Time Consumed, Status, and Data Version
