This topic describes the features and benefits of an ApsaraDB MyBase dedicated cluster that runs the ApsaraDB for Redis Enhanced Edition (Tair) database engine.
Background information
Tair is a cloud-based caching service for key-value pairs. It is developed based on the Tair service used by Alibaba Cloud. As a distributed NoSQL database that provides high availability and high performance, Tair focuses on caching and high-speed storage for multiple data structures. Tair is fully compatible with Redis protocols. Compared with ApsaraDB for Redis Community Edition, Tair provides better performance and supports more storage methods and more data structures. Instances in a dedicated cluster that runs the Tair database engine offer the same features as regular Tair instances. For more information, see Overview.
ApsaraDB MyBase supports performance-enhanced Tair instances.
