This topic describes the location parameters in the Anti-DDoS Proxy API. The location can be a country or area, or an administrative region in China.

Area

After you call the DescribeDDosEventArea operation, the Area parameter is returned. This parameter indicates the location code of an attack source.

Countries and Provinces

When you call the ConfigNetworkRegionBlock operation, you must configure the Countries and Provinces fields in the Config request parameter. The Countries field specifies the codes of the countries and areas from which you want to block requests. The Provinces field specifies the codes of the administrative regions in China from which you want to block requests.
After you call the DescribeNetworkRegionBlock operation, the Countries and Provinces parameters are returned. The Countries parameter indicates the codes of the countries and areas from which requests are blocked.
