CloudMonitor provides the event monitoring feature to help you query and analyze system events that are generated for different Alibaba Cloud services. The feature allows you to track the use of Alibaba Cloud services. If business exceptions occur, you can quickly analyze and troubleshoot issues.

Procedure
- Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Event Monitoring tab, select the service name, event severity level, event name, and time range, and then click Search.
The system events that meet the specified filter conditions are displayed.
Find the system event that you want to view and click Details in the Actions column.
The event details are displayed in JSON format.
Related operations
In the Welcome to the new Event Center section, click Create immediately to create a subscription policy. For more information, see Create a subscription policy.
On the Event Monitoring tab, click Save as Alert Rule to create a system event-triggered alert rule. For more information, see Create a system event-triggered alert rule.
On the Event Monitoring tab, click Old Event Alarm Rules in the upper-right corner to view or create alert rules of the old version. For more information, see Create a system event-triggered alert rule.
Click the Event Subscription tab to go to the Event Subscription page. You can manage subscription policies. For more information, see Manage event subscription policies (recommended).
The system event-triggered alert rule feature of the old version is no longer upgraded and will be phased out. We recommend that you use the new event subscription feature.
