DataWorks:Overview of the pay-as-you-go billing method in DataWorks

Last Updated:Sep 26, 2024

After you activate DataWorks of a specific edition, you are charged for the services and features that you use based on the amount of resources that are consumed. For example, you are charged for services and features when you develop tasks, schedule auto triggered tasks, schedule data synchronization tasks, monitor a workflow that contains a large number of tasks, monitor data quality, and call DataService Studio APIs.

Important
  • If you have an overdue payment, the system sends you a notification. In this case, you must settle the overdue payment at the earliest opportunity to prevent service suspension.

If you have other questions, submit a ticket.

  • Resources in the shared resource group for scheduling are shared by all DataWorks tenants. During peak hours, tasks that are run on the resource group may wait for resources, cannot be scheduled on time, and may not be allocated a sufficient number of threads for data synchronization. To ensure that tasks can be allocated sufficient threads and normally scheduled to run, you can purchase serverless resource groups.

Billable items

Some DataWorks services, such as DataService Studio and Data Quality, are charged based on the pay-as-you-go billing method, and you are charged only when you use the services.
