Training program to introduce innovative cloud, AI technologies and practical skills
Seoul, Korea, April 24 2024 -- Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, today announced its partnership with Hanyang University, one of the leading universities in South Korea, to bring a training program on cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) to nurture local talents, underlining its commitment to support local digital transformation.
Through this program, called Alibaba Cloud Academic Empowerment Program (AAEP), students and educators at Hanyang University will gain access to cutting-edge technologies and enhance their practical skills essential for the AI era.

Under the partnership, Hanyang University students will be provided cloud computing and eLearning resources from Alibaba Cloud Academy's (ACA), including seminars, special lectures, workshops, online practice labs and online and offline certification courses, as well as the opportunity to earn ACA professional certifications through a number of online and offline certification courses.
Educators of Hanyang University, on the other hand, will be able to access the latest training materials and participate in dedicated knowledge transfer sessions to enhance their ability to teach about innovative technologies.
AAEP, Alibaba Cloud's industry-academia initiative, aims to enhance cloud computing and AI skills among students and educators, while fostering educational collaboration. Currently, over 80 universities around the world participate in AAEP.
