[Announcement] Starting from the effective date, Alibaba Cloud will offer reduced prices for certain cloud services sold on the Alibaba Cloud platform (URL: www.alibabacloud.com), primarily for regions outside the Chinese mainland. The applicable services include Elastic Compute Service (ECS), Elastic Block Storage (EBS), Object Storage Service (OSS), Cloud Data Transfer (CDT), ApsaraDB RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB), ApsaraDB for Redis, ApsaraDB for MongoDB, MaxCompute, Hologres, DataWorks, Realtime Compute for Apache Flink, and OpenSearch.

The price reduction policy applies only to orders generated on and after the Effective Date, including new purchases, renewals and configuration changes, which should be made at the discounted price and prices on Alibaba Cloud Platform based on specific billing methods and purchase durations. If you have entered into an enterprise agreement with Alibaba Cloud before the Effective Date, for eligible cloud services, you will be charged at the enterprise agreement price or at the new reduced prices, whichever is lower. Please note that the price reduction may not apply for Alibaba Cloud's distributors and resellers and their customers in certain cases. 1. ECS: Adjust the prices and discounted prices of certain ECS instance families and the discounts provided by ECS compute savings plans.

1.1 Scope: The pay-as-you-go prices of certain instance families; the discounted pay-as-you-go prices of certain instance families; the discounted prices of one-year subscription instances of certain instance families; the discounts provided by one-year and three-year ECS compute savings plans. The price reduction can be as high as 25%.

1.2 The following table lists the changes in the pay-as-you-go prices of the involved instance families.

2. EBS: Adjust the prices and discounted prices of most ESSD categories.

2.1 Scope: The prices and discounted prices of subscription and pay-as-you-go ESSDs, including ESSD PL0, ESSD PL1, ESSD PL2, ESSD PL3, and ESSD Auto PL, reduced by up to 59%.

2.2 The following table lists the changes in the prices of certain pay-as-you-go and monthly subscription EBS devices.

3. OSS: Adjust the prices of IA storage, certain billable requests, and the 500 GB storage plan.

3.1 Scope: The prices of IA LRS and IA ZRS storage, reduced by up to 42%; deletion of objects based on lifecycle rules, provided free of charge; the prices of GET and PUT requests; the price of the 500 GB resource plan.

3.2 The following table lists the changes in the prices of pay-as-you-go IA storage.

4. CDT: Adjust the free quota and the prices of Internet data transfers.

4.1 Scope: The monthly free quota for Internet data transfers, increased from 20 GB to 200 GB (20 GB of which can be consumed for regions within the Chinese mainland); the tiered prices of Internet data transfers for regions outside the Chinese mainland, reduced by up to 31%.

4.2 The following table describes the new free quota for Internet data transfers.

*The quota is deducted in each one-hour billing cycle, not collectively at the end of a month.

4.3 The following table lists the changes in the prices of Internet data transfers.

5. Database services: Adjust the discounted prices of ApsaraDB RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB), ApsaraDB for Redis, and ApsaraDB for MongoDB instances with one- to five-year subscriptions.

5.1 Scope: The discounted prices for yearly subscriptions, reduced by up to 50%.

5.2 The following table lists the changes in the discounted prices.

6. Big data services: Adjust the discounted prices of one- to three-year MaxCompute, Hologres, DataWorks, Realtime Compute for Apache Flink, and OpenSearch subscriptions.

6.1 Scope: The discounted prices for yearly subscriptions, reduced by up to 50%.

6.2 The following table lists the changes in the discounted prices.
