The InstanceGroup resource type adds the AdjustmentValue attribute that you can use to scale your ECS instances. The value you assign to the AdjustmentValue attribute represents the number of nodes to scale in or scale out. A positive value refers to scaling out. A negative value refers to scaling in. A zero value refers to maintaining the current capacity.
