In 2022, Raiz increased its customers by 20% during the dynamics of the Ukraine conflict situation that caused fluctuations in commodity prices and affected the capital market.

Since launching in 2016, Raiz has achieved solid growth, amassing more than 2.6 million downloads, over 2,555,000 signups, as of 31 January 2022. In addition, Indonesian law requires companies providing public services using electronic systems to have a disaster recovery site in Indonesia.

Thus, Raiz uses the Kubernetes containerization framework together with Alibaba Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) (such as Elastic Compute Service (ECS) clusters, Server Load Balancer (SLB), and Container Registry) to build an application development and deployment pipeline with agility, coordination, and transparency and expand the capability to serve the increasing number of users and daily transactions.

Moreover, Raiz utilizes various Cloud-native data storage solutions on Alibaba Cloud to manage their huge amount of user and transaction data from different aspects (such as ApsaraDB RDS for database management, ApsaraDB Redis for caching, OSS for cold storage and transaction logs). All these helped the company personnel with typical database management activities and provided a built-in highly available and future-ready storage solution.
