Throughout collaborative planning and analysis discussions with Alibaba Cloud, the team were able to identify key challenges that Mekari faced:
1. Most of Mekari's customers are based in Indonesia, so it needed a partner who could provide a robust infrastructure and comply with local regulations.
2. Due to the nature of Mekari's service model, it's very challenging for Mekari to predict its resource requirement. Committing to certain usage is almost impossible, but the resource has to be available when needed - often at short notice.
3. As the business grows, and more shareholders invest in the firm, the business has to maintain a positive growth trajectory. To achieve this, Mekari must optimize how it uses its resource spending, including infrastructure costs.
4. Mekari consistently updates its services, and has grown to more than 10 business units (BU). With this in mind it also needed one single pane of view to monitor how each BU is spending their budgets, and its finance department requires multiple consolidated billing of their accounts.

From Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK), Elastic Compute Service (ECS), ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL, ElasticSearch to support computational and data processing, as well as from Cloud Firewall to Cloud Hardware Security Module (HSM) to protect confidential customer information. 5. Account ManagementAs Mekari’s business grows, more business units are expected to use its services. Alibaba Cloud Resource Directory enables Mekari to have a single-pane view of their accounts in Alibaba Cloud. Managing access, and authorization for its group members is a simple and well organized process, and Alibaba Cloud Account Linking features allows Mekari to manage and group their invoices according to their business requirement.
