Challenge
Henkel was looking into expanding in the Chinese market and needed a high-performance and efficient platform to enable its digital transformation efforts. Many of its analytics were conducted using traditional methods, which could not provide multi-dimensional and multi-perspective insights. Architecture
Henkel migrated various applications to the Alibaba Cloud to drive its digital transformation efforts in China. Through this consolidation, Henkel could perform multi-dimensional analysis for its sales and marketing activities, and also make faster, more accurate business decisions. Henkel was also able to analyze its multi-channel operation activities in real time, while gauging the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and the dynamics of both online and offline interactions, with enhanced efficiency and accuracy. In particular, Alibaba Cloud's Dataphin and Quick BI were vital in providing a powerful yet easy-to-use data platform for Henkel's team to optimize its strategy and operations.
