TOGETHER AGAINST COVID-19 WITH TECHNOLOGY

The recent COVID-19 outbreak has affected the lives of many and has not shown signs of slowing down. That is why Alibaba Cloud together with DingTalk, are enabling communities and businesses across the globe to innovate new solutions in this difficult time through technology.

With a series of advanced cloud-based applications, Alibaba Cloud supports the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic through solutions such as Elastic HPC Solution for Life Sciences, Data Visualization, and Epidemic Prediction Solution. DingTalk has also launched the International Medical Expert Communication Platform, which allows people from all over the world to communicate with medical institutions and doctors in China with first-hand experience in fighting the epidemic.

Selina Yuan

VP of Alibaba Group, President of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence International

Selina Yuan is a Vice President of Alibaba Group and President of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence International, a leading cloud platform in Asia and top three in the world. She leads the international division of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group, heading a global team across APAC, Europe, Americas and Middle East, and enabling cloud technology for millions of customers around the world. Selina brings more than 20 years of experience in leading and growing technology businesses globally.

Hugo Zhu

Principal Engineer of Alibaba Group, CTO of DingTalk

Hugo Zhu, is a Principal Engineer of Alibaba Group, and CTO of DingTalk. Currently he leads the engineering team and the core products of DingTalk. Prior to DingTalk, he has been a senior architect for Alimama and Laiwang.

Xian-Sheng Hua

Distinguished Engineer/VP of Alibaba Group, Head of AI Center of DAMO Academy

Xian-Sheng Hua is now a Distinguished Engineer/VP of Alibaba Group, Head of AI Center and City Brain Lab of DAMO Academy, leading a team working on large-scale visual intelligence on the cloud. Dr. Hua is an IEEE Fellow, and ACM Distinguished Scientist. He has authored or coauthored more than 200 research papers and has more than 60 granted patents. He was one of the recipients of the 2008 MIT Technology Review TR35 Young Innovator Award for his outstanding contributions on video search. Hua will be serving as general co-chair of ACM Multimedia 2020.

Feifei Li

VP of Alibaba Group, President and Senior Fellow of Database, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence

Feifei Li is currently a VP of Alibaba Group, ACM Distinguished Scientist, Director of the Database Products Business Unit of Alibaba Cloud and the Database and Storage Lab of DAMO academy. Prior to Alibaba, he has been a tenured full professor at the School of Computing, University of Utah. He has won multiple awards from NSF, ACM, IEEE, Visa, Google, HP, and Huawei.

Yangqing Jia

VP of Alibaba Group, President of Data Platform, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence

Dr. Yangqing Jia is Vice President of Alibaba Group, currently leading Compute Platform of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. He leads Alibaba's AI and Big Data unit, supporting the large-scale applications both inside the company and on Alibaba Cloud.

Wanqing He

Alibaba Cloud HPC Lead/Director

Dr. Warren He Wanqing is the director of Alibaba Cloud HPC, leading the development of Alibaba HPC-in-Cloud product and business. He has been working in HPC area for more than 15 years and is an expert in HPC performance tuning, heterogeneous parallel computing, and parallel filesystem.
