The flexible billing infrastructure was one of the reasons W Tech chose Alibaba Cloud. Alibaba Cloud provides a pay-as-you-go and subscription model when a company subscribes to cloud services. As a result, when it conducts proof-of-concept (POC) projects with potential clients, it saves the company money.

W Tech utilizes the advantages of the Alibaba Cloud ecosystem to build its platform, including Elastic Compute Service (ECS), ApsaraDB RDS, ApsaraDB for MongoDB, Object Storage Services (OSS), Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Container Services for Kubernetes. The company adopted Alibaba Cloud’s microservices architecture to ensure high reliability and scalability. W Tech subscribed to several ECS and included them in the Kubernetes container to set up the entire microservices environment.

W Tech uses ApsaraDB products and the benefit of master and secondary (primary and secondary) nodes to ensure its database is always online. The company also set up auto backup on all the databases using OSS as its file storage. W Tech integrates with Alibaba Cloud CDN services to provide clients with low latency and cost-effective file delivery solutions. The company provides a stable, reliable, secure, and elastic environment by combining each service. Now, W Tech can scale the resource within one minute without any complicated process.

W Tech can ensure the network is secure and will not be disrupted by any potential public attack because it has implemented a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) – a private, isolated network environment for the entire architecture. Finally, the company implemented Cloud Monitor and Auto Scaling features to deal with sudden traffic increases.
