IT Infrastructure Costs

Alibaba Cloud AnalyticDB is a massively parallel processing (MPP) data lakehouse service designed to analyze large volumes of data online with the popular business intelligence (BI) system. Alibaba Cloud DataWorks is a one-stop data development and governance tool that schedules ETL tasks and provides data governance.

When using Alibaba Cloud AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL, Synagie can build a unified data platform with lower data lakehouse development and maintenance efforts. The unified data lakehouse enhanced data consistency, promoted cross-department collaboration, and eliminated data duplication. Alibaba Cloud AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL is cost-effective, helping Synagie save data platform costs by more than 50% with the same performance. The migration was smooth. Synagie completed the entire migration in roughly a month.

Synagie leveraged Alibaba Cloud Energy Expert to achieve its sustainability goal by reducing its carbon footprint in a cost-effective way. It helped Synagie identify the sources of the carbon emissions from its daily business activities, calculate carbon emissions, and offer actionable optimization plans with recommendations that balance business growth and environmental impacts to reduce carbon emissions.

Energy Expert also helped 500 brands on Synagie categorize their low-carbon products, identify carbon emission resources, conduct informed sustainability practices to reduce carbon emissions, and provide online carbon footprint modeling, calculations, and certifications.
