Team FATA is a collaborative group formed during the Alibaba Cloud GenAI Hackathon 2024 in Indonesia, bringing together four professionals: Feki Pangestu Wijaya, Ahmad Satya Wicaksana, Tommy, and Anna Christina Situmorang. Despite just meeting at the hackathon, our diverse backgrounds and shared vision enabled us to create an innovative solution addressing real-world transportation challenges.
RuteJabar is an AI-powered Public Transportation Safety Recommendation App designed to transform journey planning. Our application provides crucial information about routes between any two points, highlighting crime rates along the path and internet connectivity coverage—two factors that significantly impact travel safety and convenience.
In today's world, public transportation plays a vital role in sustainable urban development and combating climate change. However, safety concerns often deter people from utilizing these services. RuteJabar addresses this challenge by:
At the core of RuteJabar is an advanced AI system that generates comprehensive route information focusing on safety metrics and connectivity data. The platform analyzes various data points to provide users with actionable insights before they embark on their journey.
The application presents this information in an intuitive interface, allowing travelers to compare different routes and transportation options based on safety ratings and connectivity levels rather than just distance or time.
Our solution harnesses the power of several Alibaba Cloud products to deliver reliable and scalable services:
● Model Studio: Powers our AI capabilities, generating information on road safety and internet connectivity. It also facilitates translations to Bahasa Indonesia and returns data in JSON format for seamless integration.
● ECS (Elastic Compute Service): Provides the computational infrastructure needed to run our application efficiently.
● OSS (Object Storage Service): Manages the storage of data and media assets.
● ApsaraDB: Handles our database needs, ensuring quick access to critical information.
