Relive the best moments of the Apsara Conference 2019 at https://www.alibabacloud.com/apsara-conference-2019.
On September 26, during this year's Apsara Conference, Alibaba Cloud discussed some of the new developments and achievements for the ET City Brain project. As of now, City Brain has been implemented in 23 cities across Asia, serving customers in 48 different specific application scenarios across 11 major areas of city life, including transportation, urban government, cultural tourism, and health.
One thing that Alibaba has learned in Hangzhou is that the influence of City Brain on a city cannot be unstated. With Hangzhou slowly reaping the benefits of the original City Brain project, boasting better traffic conditions, transparent government, and more convenient medical services.
During the conference, Alibaba Cloud announced its new cooperation effort with Hangzhou's Xiaoshan International Airport. The airport will be leveraging the scheduling capabilities of ET City Brain to more effectively and intelligently manage a wide array of services. These services include airport departure and arrival schedules, onboarding and off boarding operations, airplane fueling, and also aircraft maintenance and overhauls. Besides these, services such as luggage delivery and in-flight meals will also be covered by City Brain.
In reality, the integration of urban data and airport data makes precise computing and scheduling possible-whether we're talking about the delivery of packages or the collaboration between airports and high-speed rail stations. Through connecting airports, high-speed rails, and city roads, City Brain is helping cities across China and now in Malaysia to save time and resources by improving scheduling efficiency.
ET City Brain was first launched during Alibaba Cloud's 2017 Computing Conference. From serving the road connecting downtown Hangzhou to the Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou to essentially covering the entirety of Hangzhou, ET City Brain is now helping the local municipal government of Hangzhou to improve government operations throughout the city. Over the years, ET City Brain has helped to bring several specific improvements to life in the city of Hangzhou. Below are some of the very specific ways in which City Brain is making life better in Hangzhou:
Now, with the wide application of city brain throughout Asia, Hangzhou is not the only city to reap the benefits of ET City Brain. These changes are also starting to be seen in other places in China and Malaysia.
