On October 21, 2021, Alibaba Cloud officially released Apsara Stack 2.0 at the 2021 Apsara Conference in Hangzhou, upgrading from a single private cloud scenario to serving large enterprise cloud and industry-specific cloud scenarios. The new generation of Apsara Stack can customize a stable, safe, open, and intelligent digital base for governments and enterprises, realize intelligent management and automated operation and maintenance, and can be built into an independent "industry-specific public cloud." It also provides a complete cloud-edge integrated solution for the industrial Internet era and is a good peer in government and enterprise data intelligence innovation.

In recent years, hybrid cloud has been favored by more governments and enterprises due to its stable, secure, open, and intelligent features. The Forrester report entitled "Native Hybrid Cloud Accelerates Enterprise Digital Transformation" pointed out that hybrid cloud is the key driving force for global enterprise digital transformation. The integrated native hybrid cloud will release the unlimited potential of adaptive enterprises.

The Hybrid Cloud Construction and Management Integration Upgrading Forum during the Apsara Conference invited Li Wei (Deputy Director of the Institute of Cloud Computing and Big Data of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology), Dai Kun (Chief Analyst of Forrester), Qiu Peng, (Head of the O&M Platform Development Team of Huatai Securities Information Technology Department), Zhang Zihui, (Chief Information Engineer of the Information Technology Center of Zhejiang University), and Liu Guohua (General Manager of Hybrid Cloud Platform, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, and researcher of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Business Group) to discuss the trends and practices of hybrid cloud and explain the advantages of Apsara Stack 2.0. The advantages of Apsara Stack 2.0 are explained in more detail below:

1) The proprietary "public cloud" with Apsara 2.0 (new generation public cloud architecture) as the core: This equates to one cloud with multiple cores and one cloud with multiple regions. It is secure and compliant and is the first enterprise in China to pass the commercial cryptography application security evaluation. It can achieve full-scenario disaster recovery. It has three machine room capabilities in the same city at the financial level, and its core business RPO = 0.

2) From a manageable "cloud" to a "cloud" that can operate independently: It can achieve intelligent management of cloud resources and automated O&M of cloud platforms and easy integration of operational platforms and open interfaces.

As the first fully self-developed large-scale and mature commercial native hybrid cloud in China, Alibaba Cloud Hybrid Cloud has gone through seven years of deep cultivation in the industry and has more than 70 full-stack cloud services, with a single cluster of up to 10,000 units.
