Alibaba Cloud PolarDB is a cloud-native relational database with extreme elasticity and an auto-scaling feature.
When CPU utilization increases and reaches a specific threshold, the PolarDB cluster reads this and will perform a scale-out or scale-up accordingly.
When the traffic subsides and the CPU utilization falls back to normal, the PolarDB cluster performs a scale-in or scale-down.
